Acrylic and spray paint on canvas
76 × 56 cm
Original artwork
Not Feeling Very Brave Today brings Sean Loch’s raw visual language into a more intimate scale.
Against a vivid orange ground, fragmented text and gestural marks collide across the canvas. The title reads almost like a private admission made public — vulnerable, humorous and defiant at once.
Loch’s combination of spray paint, loose mark-making and typography gives the work the immediacy of something found on the street, while retaining the energy and physicality of painting.
A compact but powerful work with a strong graphic presence.
